BAS-700 Snap Track Mounting Concept

• Low cost substitute for DIN rail mounting
• Simply screw track to panel or enclosure
• Simply snap in boards and slide together

Snap track is a commonly used method of mounting circuit boards inside control panels. This method is most commonly found in building automation and facility management. Because it can be cut to any length needed, it is especially suited to the BAS-700 series with its endless possibilities for configuration variations.

Snap track comes in standard 4 foot lengths. Control Solutions also stocks 2 foot and 1 foot lengths, and will custom cut (down from 48 inches) to any desired length. The track itself is sold as a convenience to Control Solutions customers who are purchasing BAS-700 series boards with the track. BAS-EXT Track Adapter

• Provides ribbon cable connector to break system into 2 tracks
• BAS-EXT/2 includes 2" cable, BAS-EXT/6 includes 6" cable
• Use 2" cable for back to back tracks
• Use 6" cable for over-under tracks

Use the BAS-EXT Track Adaptor to expand your panel mounting options. The adapter allows back to back track mounting, or mounting parallel tracks one above the other that electrically become one.

BAS-DC48 Power Converter allows operation of BAS-700 systems in 48VDC positive ground telecomm applications

BAS-DC48 Power Converter

• Isolated 48VDC input
• 12VDC @ 2.1A output (or 24VDC @ 1.0A)
• Used for positive ground Telecom installations

The BAS-DC48 power converter is a DC/DC converter that converts 48VDC to a lower DC voltage. The BAS-DC48/12 supplies 12VDC out at up to 2.1 amps. The BAS-DC48/24 provides 24VDC out at 1.05 amps. The 48V input is isolated from the output with a 500VDC rating. The BAS-DC48 is suitable for running a BAS-700 track on the negative 48 volts found in some telecommunications equipment.

The BAS-MVC is designed to isolate and amplify low level signals such as those found in current shunt applications. The BAS-MVC also provides isolated excitation for bridge or load cell type sensors.The module can be configured for 50mV or 100mV input ranges. The output of the BAS-MVC may be wired to any analog input module in the BAS-730 series.

A power-on indicator is inlucded on the front panel. (Circuit boards excluded.) This rack kit is intended for prototype use.
