Control Solutions’ Babel Buster® BB2-6040-XSCW is a client/server device that functions as a 900 MHz wireless sensor gateway. After adding the Script Basic parsing program, data received from wireless sensors will stored in local registers in the BB2-6040-XSCW. This data is then accessible via Modbus, and will be logged to a web server if configured to do so.

The BB2-6040-XSCW includes a web client used to log data to a web server such as LogMyData.com. Web portal subscriptions are available for a complete monitoring package with notifications via email, SMS, and voice call. Support is also available for customers who wish to develop their own web portal utilizing the BB2-6040-XSCW and 900 MHz wireless sensors.

Data is reported periodically to the web portal. In addition, thresholds programmed by the user may trigger report by exception notifications. The notifications are received by the web portal, logged, and then distributed to a list of recipients via email, SMS, or voice call.
