 Pre-configured application specific gateways are the same LonMark certified gateways. We just pre-program them for specific applications. The Modbus register map is already entered into the configuration. Network variable types are already selected. The configuration is already tested. For a typical application, you need only plug it in, commission the node, and go.

This extra service is offered at no extra cost to OEM's. As a customer, you should know that we require testing the OEM interface in our own lab before we publish it here. This means if we advertise it, you can count on us for support.
