You already know that "one size fits all" often doesn't really fit "all". That's why we created the BAS-700 Building Block approach that lets you create your own system. You simply plug together the modules you need! We offer an array of processor options and I/O modules. Packaging is simple and economical with the cut-to-size snap track concept. Creating a custom system is easy and economical with the new BAS-700 series.
Our BAS-700 Flex System brings our building block approach to LonWorks by implementing a flexible I/O system based on LonMark Sensor and Actuator Node Objects. The Flex System may be configured with anywhere from 2 to 56 I/O points, including both analog and discrete points. The program interface (XIF) remains the same. You simply plug in the I/O as it suits your hardware layout requirements. Then, through configuration properties, you assign the I/O points to functional profiles within Flex 56 or Flex 60.
The Flex System has the default configurations outlined below. However, many of our Flex customers request configurations that are unique to their requirements. The mix of inputs and outputs may be changed. Control Solutions is happy to provide customized configurations. Simply contact us with your requirements.
The updated Flex System includes 3 state input objects. Each object can monitor dry contact state for up to 64 inputs. The BAS-7124 monitors up to 24 state inputs. Fill up the track with eight of the BAS-7124 and the Flex System can monitor a total of 192 dry contacts. The photo below shows an example configured for 96 dry contact inputs.
