We created the BAS-700 building block approach to let you create your own SNMP Remote Monitoring node. You simply plug together the modules you need! Packaging is simple and economical with cut-to-size snap track. Creating a custom system is easy and economical with the BAS-700 series.
Simple I/O for SNMP has evolved into i.CanDoIt® The BAS-700 i.CanDoIt consists of a BAS-7050 Ethernet processor module plus one to eight I/O modules from the BAS-700 series. All configuration is done through the embedded web server. Click here or on tabs above to enter the i.CanDoIt demo web site. What you see is what you get in each BAS-7050 with Advanced i.CanDoIt.
i.CanDoIt - Simple I/O for SNMP
BAS-7050 Features
• Powerful 32-bit ARM processor
• Mix of analog and discrete I/O options
• Local area network gateway options
• Simple web based configuration
• SNMP v2 agent (v2c traps)
What if I want both SNMP and Modbus/TCP?
Simple I/O for SNMP and Modbus by the Module originated as different products. Because they were so similar, we combined them into i.CanDoIt, and added new features at the same time. You get both SNMP and Modbus TCP in i.CanDoIt. Use which ever one you like, or use them both at the same time.

Modbus RTU devices can be monitored right along with hard wired analog and discrete I/O points. The Modbus RTU devices are polled by i.CanDoIt. The Modbus registers are then accessible as SNMP MIB objects.
Need to configure several systems the same way? Use the embedded web site to configure the first one, download its XML configuration file, then upload the XML file to the rest of the systems.

A dry contact monitor with a remote SNMP agent can be very small and simple. Pictured here is a 24-input Simple I/O for SNMP system.
