Web Authoring for i.CanDoIt

Control Solutions' i.CanDoIt servers support User HTML, meaning you can add your own web pages to give your device an application specific look and feel.

If you can navigate a typical Windows drawing application, you can create web pages without knowing HTML code using Virtual Mechanics SiteSpinner Pro.

We provide a series of tutorials using SiteSpinner Pro, beginning with a very simple "display a number" to mid-level data superimposed on pictures (illustrated here), to advanced pages with animation. The tutorial series starts here.

In addition to step by step how-to guides for building several example pages, we provide a zip file with our finished example including all HTML and graphics files.

SiteSpinner Pro provides an easy to use, intuitive tool palette shown here. Pages are built using drag and drop, and fill in the template.

We do not sell or make money promoting SiteSpinner Pro. We recommend it because it is inexpensive ($99), and is richly featured with sufficient support for every "trick" we have tested in web page building. It is easy enough for beginners, yet powerful enough for pros. We chose SiteSpinner Pro after buying and testing several page authoring tools.
