Quick Help

Enter the single destination object, or a range of destination objects, to copy the source object to. If no last destination object is entered, only a single object will be copied to.

Delete will remove the rule number shown in the "Showing" box. Insert will insert a new rule before the rule number shown, and is used for placing rules between existing rules. It is not necessary to use Insert to add rules to the bottom of the list or to define any rule presently having zero for a source object.

Entering zero as a source object effectively deletes the rule even though it will still appear in the list until deleted. Unused rules at the end of the list will always show zero as the source object. If you wish to prevent these from being displayed, reduce the number of rules enabled.

The number of rules enabled simply limits the scope of rule review so that you do not have to review a lot of unused rules.

A note about multiple cascade rules from a single source: Each object is allowed to propagate only once to avoid redundant transmission of data. Therefore, to cascade the same source to more than one destination that are not contiguous, cascade the objects in sequence. In other words, rather than cascade A to B and A to C, you should cascade A to B, then B to C.
