Select
baud rate and parity from the drop down list. By default, character
format includes one stop bit (most common). If your remote device
requires 2 stop bits, check the 2 stop bit box. Note that these
settings apply to the port, and you cannot mix devices that require a
dissimilar stop bit count, parity, or baud rate. Reconfigure other
devices as necessary. Click
either Master or Slave buttons to select type of operation. Enter
timeout if functioning as a master. Click update to register your
