BACnet MS/TP

These may be viewed through the vent holes in the cover.

Status Green LED, normally flickering rapidly, flashes each time the MS/TP token is passed and each time a "poll for master" is sent.
Comm
Activity
Yellow LED flashes each time a packet is successfully received on the MS/TP network. This LED will not flash if unrecognized communication is received. Yellow LED also flashes each time a packet is sent out on the MS/TP network.
Comm
Error
Normal operation: Red LED flashes any time an error is detected in the received packet, such as unrecognized object.

Bootloader: Upon power-up, the bootloader checks the integrity of the application. If program memory has been corrupted in the co-processor, the red light will remain on with brief flickers off at a 1-second rate, and the green ACT LED will remain off.

The red LED will remain on for about 5 seconds at power up, a period referred to as INIT mode. During this time it is checking the integrity of the application, but it is also checking the communications link for either the "baccom" command or a firmware update start command.

Base
Power
Green LED indicates power is present independent of any processor activity. This indicator is on the secondary side of the internal DC/DC converter. If power is present at the input terminals but this LED does not light, there is a hardware fault.
Server
Power
Green LED indicates server power is present independent of any processor activity. The base power is further regulated to produce server power. Base power must be present before server power can be present. (Present but only applicable when server is added.)
