BACnet based
AddMe III
and AddMe Lite
The Control Solutions, Inc. "AddMe III" family of products includes the server based AddMe III and AddMe Jr. The I/O portion of these products makes powerful slave I/O all by itself, and these products are supported by external tools discussed in the web pages that start right there.

The slave I/O variants of the AddMe III family are available with Modbus, LonWorks and BACnet. The BACnet version is described in this set of help pages. The Slave I/O for BACnet version of AddMe III is model AM3-SB and the Slave I/O for BACnet version of AddMe Jr., aka AddMe Lite, is AMJ14-SB.

Configuration of the slave I/O is supported with a PC based tool. Once configured, you need to know which object properties to read and write to access data. You may optionally wish to write a control program that is downloaded into the AddMe. These are covered at this local links:

Control Solutions’ AddMe III features 18 universal inputs which are context sensitive. When configured as an analog input, the continuously self-calibrating sigma-delta converter produces 15-bit resolution with high noise immunity. When configured as a discrete input, the converter switches to 8-bit resolution at 128 samples per second for fast response. All I/O points are accessed as BACnet object properties.

Linearization tables are provided for 3K, 10K and 20K type II, III, and IV thermistors. Input type and scaling is configured by writing to additional holding registers or object properties.
