Babel Buster BB2-7010-01 (formerly Babel Buster IP/XM) contains three different clients and three different servers. The BB2-7010-01 includes BACnet/IP client and server, Modbus TCP client and server (master and slave), and Modbus RTU master and slave. Modbus devices are accessible from BACnet IP and vice versa. Input objects will poll their assigned slave device at the interval you specify, and provide that data as the Present Value when read via BACnet. Commandable Output objects are used to write Modbus registers, and will update the Modbus device each time BACnet is updated. COV subscription support is included.

Babel Buster BB2-3010 is a fully configurable universal Modbus RTU to BACnet MS/TP gateway. The Babel Buster BB2-3010 is an RTU master used to make multiple Modbus RTU RS-485 devices accessible on a BACnet network. The BB2-3010 is also capable of acting as a BACnet MS/TP client and Modbus RTU slave, allowing BACnet devices to be connected to a Modbus network. The BB2-3010 can also be MS/TP slave and Modbus slave at the same time for putting industrial PLC's on a BACnet network.

Babel Buster BB2-7010-02 (formerly Babel Buster IP/XM-SNMP) contains four different clients and four different servers. The BB2-7010-02 includes BACnet/IP client and server, Modbus TCP client and server (master and slave), SNMP client and server (agent), and Modbus RTU master and slave. The BACnet IP client allows BACnet IP devices to be accessible from Modbus or SNMP. The SNMP client allows SNMP devices to be accessible from BACnet IP or Modbus. The same polling schemes that apply to Modbus also apply to remote BACnet IP slaves polled by the BACnet IP client, and to remote SNMP agents polled by the SNMP client.

Babel Buster BB2-7030 is a BACnet IP to MS/TP Router, configured or learning, that will route BACnet IP to MS/TP and vice versa via its local ports, and supports full router capability for multi-hop internetworks including via NAT WAN routers. The BB2-7030 is also a client/server gateway that allows remapping BACnet objects from multiple slaves into one master. The gateway also features support for Modbus TCP or SNMP to MS/TP, includes BBMD support, and includes proxy support.

Babel Buster® BB2-7040 is a BACnet client/server device that functions as a ZigBee Coordinator and gateway. After setting up the appropriate mappings in the BB2-7040, data from ZigBee sensors will appear as BACnet objects on BACnet IP and/or BACnet MS/TP. Data written to BACnet objects can also be propagated to ZigBee actuators by the BB2-7040. The BB2-7040 supports both BACnet IP and BACnet MS/TP. BBMD and COV support are included. Up to 400 objects may be mapped to up to 100 ZigBee devices.

Babel Buster SP Custom lets you create your own gateway. Designed to interface devices with a proprietary RS-232 ASCII protocol, the proprietary part of the protocol is user programmed using the built-in Script Basic. Simple function calls are provided to move data between your Basic program and BACnet IP objects. The BACnet IP side of this gateway is the same as our other BACnet IP gateways, and is configured via the internal web server.

Babel Buster 485XL is a fully configurable universal LonWorks to BACnet MS/TP gateway. The 485XL is used to make LonWorks TP/FT-10 devices accessible on a BACnet network. Babel Buster 485XL can poll multiple LonWorks devices. BACnet data is translated to LonWorks network variable data, and vice versa. Standard BACnet objects are used for mapping LonWorks network variables. Any BACnet client capable of reading and writing object properties can exchange data with LonWorks devices, and configure the gateway.

Babel Buster IP/XL is a BACnet IP slave (server) device that functions as a LonWorks device manager. NV Structures may be parsed to multiple BACnet objects when reading. Multiple BACnet objects may be packed into a single structured variable when writing. All standard SNVT’s are supported. Objects mapped to Network Variable Outputs (NVO) will poll their assigned variable at the interval you specify. Network Variable Inputs (NVI) are written each time the mapped BACnet object is written.
