Gateways for SNMP - Turn Modbus, BACnet IP, LonWorks Devices into SNMP Agents
Babel Buster SPX Modbus to SNMP Gateway
Babel Buster SPX is more than a protocol translator. It is a self contained server that collects data according to the rules you create. The SPX will autonomously poll multiple Modbus devices and store the data for later forwarding via SNMP Get requests. SPX includes Modbus RTU master or slave (user selectable) and Modbus TCP client and server. Virtual device register re-mapping is also supported.
Babel Buster BB2-7010-02 BACnet to SNMP Gateway
Babel Buster BB2-7010-02 (formerly Babel Buster IP/XM-SNMP) contains four different clients and four different servers. The BB2-7010-02 includes BACnet/IP client and server, Modbus TCP client and server (master and slave), SNMP client and server (agent), and Modbus RTU master and slave. The BACnet IP client allows BACnet IP devices to be accessible from SNMP. BACnet IP data is periodically polled and available via SNMP Get (can also write BACnet IP data with SNMP Set). SNMP v2c traps can also be generated based on template rules applied to BACnet data.
Babel Buster BB2-6010 Modbus to SNMP Gateway
Babel Buster BB2-6010 is a Modbus to Modbus and a Modbus to SNMP Gateway. The BB2-6010 is more than a protocol translator. It is a self contained server that collects and distributes data according to the rules you create. The most common use of the BB2-6010 is to map Modbus RTU and/or Modbus TCP devices to SNMP. The SNMP manager can use SNMP Get to retrieve contents of any mapped Modbus register. The BB2-6010 generates SNMP Traps upon sensing of “alarm” conditions.
BB2-6040-XSC with 900 MHz Wireless Sensor Input
Combine a Babel Buster BB2-6040-XSC with several 900 MHz wireless sensors to create an SNMP based monitoring system for equipment and environment monitoring in applications such as data centers.
Babel Buster SP Modbus to SNMP Gateway
Babel Buster SP is functionally equivalent to Babel Buster SPX, except includes RS-232 capability on the serial port. Babel Buster SP is a self contained server that collects data according to the rules you create. The SP will autonomously poll multiple Modbus devices and store the data for later forwarding via SNMP Get requests. SP includes Modbus RTU master or slave (user selectable) and Modbus TCP client and server. Virtual device register re-mapping is also supported.
Babel Buster X2 LonWorks to Modbus/TCP, SNMP
Babel Buster X2 is a fully configurable universal LonWorks to Modbus/TCP and SNMP gateway. The X2 can access LonWorks data without network management requirements. All necessary device management is included within the X2. Babel Buster X2 includes both client and server sides of Modbus TCP. The Modbus master (client) can query other Modbus TCP devices. The Modbus slave (server) allows other devices to query Babel Buster. LonWorks network variable data is translated to Modbus register data, and vice versa. All register data is also accessible as SNMP MIB objects.
Babel Buster BB2-7030 BACnet Gateway and Router
Babel Buster BB2-7030-02 supports SNMP to BACnet MS/TP connectivity as a gateway. It is primarily a BACnet Router, configured or learning, that will route BACnet IP to MS/TP and vice versa via its local ports, and supports full router capability for multi-hop internetworks including via NAT WAN routers. The BB2-7030 is also a client/server gateway that allows remapping BACnet objects from multiple slaves into one master. The model variant BB2-7030-02 includes SNMP support.
