Gateways for Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP Networks
Babel Buster BB2-7010-01 Modbus to BACnet Gateway
Babel Buster BB2-7010-01 (formerly Babel Buster IP/XM) contains three different clients and three different servers. The BB2-7010-01 includes BACnet/IP client and server, Modbus TCP client and server (master and slave), and Modbus RTU master and slave. Modbus devices are accessible from BACnet IP and vice versa. Input objects will poll their assigned slave device at the interval you specify, and provide that data as the Present Value when read via BACnet. Commandable Output objects are used to write Modbus registers, and will update the Modbus device each time BACnet is updated. COV subscription support is included.
Babel Buster SPX Modbus to SNMP Gateway
Babel Buster SPX is more than a protocol translator. It is a self contained server that collects and distributes data according to the rules you create. As a serial to Ethernet adapter, the SPX will autonomously poll multiple serial devices and store the data for later forwarding via Modbus TCP, and vice versa. SPX includes Modbus RTU master or slave (user selectable) and Modbus TCP client and server. Virtual device register re-mapping is also supported.
Babel Buster X2 LonWorks to Modbus/TCP, SNMP
Babel Buster 485XM Modbus to BACnet Gateway
Babel Buster X2 is a fully configurable universal LonWorks to Modbus/TCP and SNMP gateway. The X2 can access LonWorks data without network management requirements. All necessary device management is included within the X2. Babel Buster X2 includes both client and server sides of Modbus TCP. The Modbus master (client) can query other Modbus TCP devices. The Modbus slave (server) allows other devices to query Babel Buster. LonWorks network variable data is translated to Modbus register data, and vice versa. All register data is also accessible as SNMP MIB objects.
Babel Buster BB2-6010 Modbus to SNMP Gateway
Babel Buster BB2-6010 is a Modbus to Modbus and a Modbus to SNMP Gateway. The BB2-6010 is more than a protocol translator. It is a self contained server that collects and distributes data according to the rules you create. The most common use of the BB2-6010 is to map Modbus RTU and/or Modbus TCP devices to SNMP. The SNMP manager can use SNMP Get to retrieve contents of any mapped Modbus register. The BB2-6010 generates SNMP Traps upon sensing of “alarm” conditions.
Babel Buster SP Modbus to SNMP Gateway
Babel Buster SP is more than a protocol translator. It is a self contained server that collects and distributes data according to the rules you create. You can use Babel Buster as an alarm notification device using SNMP traps. The primary applications for Babel Buster SP are serial to Ethernet conversion for Modbus devices, and SNMP access to serial or Ethernet Modbus devices. The Modbus RTU port can operate as master or slave. The Modbus TCP interface can operate as master and slave at the same time. Babel Buster SP is an SNMP agent (does not include SNMP manager). Serial port is RS-485/422 or RS-232.
Babel Buster 485-DS Modbus to LonWorks
Babel Buster 485-DS is a minimal configuration LonWorks to Modbus RTU gateway. This version of the original Babel Buster 485 gateway has been specially programmed to be strictly a Modbus slave, and provide raw access to LonWorks network variables without binding or network management. A single 485-DS gateway supports a single LonWorks device. The "network management" stays on the Modbus side.
Babel Buster SP-GW Modbus Gateway
Babel Buster SP-GW is a transparent gateway for mapping Modbus RTU devices to Modbus TCP and vice versa. All requests received from an RS-485 master are passed straight through to Ethernet servers. When configured to go the other way, all requests received from an Ethernet client are passed straight through to RS-485 slaves.
Babel Buster BB2-6040-XSC Modbus to Wireless 900MHz
Babel Buster 485XM Modbus to BACnet Gateway
Babel Buster BB2-6040-XSC is a 900 MHz Wireless to Modbus gateway. This modified version of our ZigBee gateway uses XBee 900 MHz radios for extended range and improved penetration. The BB2-6040-XSC is ideally suited for use with the Point Sensor family of sensors. A virtually unlimited number of wireless sensors may be connected to Modbus networks or web applications using the BB2-6040-XSC.
